Tried out more or less the same build with armor of sanc and conviction, and used 40/40 + blessed arm.. Worked out great, till I ran out of energy =(

Divine Boon is still a crap skill, people just love to wax nostalgic about it. Even the completely unnerfed version would have a hard time keeping up with the power creep in damage and healing since the last time it was viable.

Default Boon Monk Alternative

Being a boon monk always means that energy will get sparse in times of extreme pressure. PnH was never fascinating, since you are using an inferior energy management source as an elite, imo. Offering of Blood would be a better fit in the case of solo management of energy in and RA/AB scenario.

Condition/Hex removal are paramount in a monk build, even smiters can do this.
Damage mitigation can surpass "Red Bars Up healing", so Shield of Absorption may be far better for you than Shielding hands in the long run. You may also want to look into Boon Signet. In PvE, this skill has great synergy with DB builds, imo. Not quite sure if the PvP equivalent reacts the same. Need to look into it myself.

DB+Boon Signet can account for a great deal of passive healing and a touch more E management when paired in a Prot/Heal build. Just my thoughts.
